George Mavromaras is a serial entrepreneur, start-up guru, trader, public speaker and has a great passion for building companies. He graduated top of his class with Honors in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas and is the founder and CEO of Mavro Inc. (2007), TexApp Consulting Company LLC. (2010), and Praetor Global LLC. (2011).
Mavro Inc., his first start-up success, was the first Smarphone App to effectively bridge the communication gap between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers through the use of a Yes/No Answer Format and has the advantage of Audio Capability. Mavro’s software includes: Medical Spanish, Police Spanish, Dental Spanish, Physical and Occupational Therapy Spanish. With over 500,000 users and growing, Mavro Inc. plans to break over 1 million users by the end of 2012. Mavro Inc. and their Medical Spanish product have actively partnered with a top pharmaceutical company, been recognized by StartupNation for the Most Innovative Product of 2009, reviewed by MSN Money, and won the UT Dallas Business Idea Competition.
TexApp Consulting LLC. was created when George discovered an opportunity to broker App and technology development on behalf of small businesses and individuals. The niche model he created for TexApp grants his clients full access to the top development shops. He negotiates development cost, satisfies budget and produces quality products on behalf of his clients.
George has partnered with a former U.S. Navy SEAL on his latest venture, Praetor Global LLC. PG, a Maritime Private Security company, is dedicated to protecting ship owner's assets, it’s employees as well as ensuring the safest deployment of precious cargo.
