Our Story:
This project is a team effort by both Joe Bandelli and Matthew Wise. These friends and partners have been collaborating for over four years. Together, they have writen several sketches, two short films, and a feature film currently in preproduction. Usually, Bandelli directs and Wise's talents extend into acting, but for Bumbloods, both of them are taking on major roles behind and in front of the camera. Some of their recent work can be seen at:
Our Series:
After a new synthetic drug hit the streets and caused 90% of the population to turn into zombies overnight, Jerms (Dr. Jeremy Madison) and Krepe (Mario Krepeli) are stuck in their Brooklyn apartment trying to figure out how to survive. Jerms is the smarter one of the two, attempting to help everyone around him, but everything he seems to do puts the pair in more danger. Krepe, on the other hand, couldn't care less about another living soul. His selfishness wears on Jerms, yet somehow manages to keep the two of them alive.
The funds raised will be used to go into production on the opening episode of the webseries, Bumbloods. The entire nine episode series has been written and is in the process of finding a financier to bring the whole project together. This start up money is what is needed in order to film an opening sequence for the entire series as well as the pilot episode to the world that the characters Jerms and Krepe live in.
What We Need:
Your generous donations will go towards Equipment Rentals, Production Design, A Name Talent Co-Star, and mind blowing Special Effects. We have received partial funding from 'The Shorts Show' which has greatly helped our effort in creating this undead comic gem. Thank you in advance for your support and we can't wait to share this project with you all.
Please Help By Spreading The Word:
Even if you are unable to contribute financially, we would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word about our campaign. Thank you.
