CENT$ is a film about Promise, a woman who has spent over 20 years living on the streets. Her family, not by blood but bonding, has always been the foundation for her to survive. Though it is freezing in Chicago and food seems sometimes an impossible task; Promise let's her wild imagination guide her through each night. Through spoken word and street performances, Promise makes enough change to stay alive every day. Through her eyes, the world is a canvas for colorful creations. When faced with a life changing opportunity, Promise must make the choice to let go or die.
The Impact
It has taken Tiger 10 years to find the right story to bring to the screen as her first feature film. She never imagined it would be the story of her life. But it is raw and real and now we can't imagine any other story.
