#FixYoungAmerica Week 4 Wrap-Up: We did it! We not only hit but exceed our goal of $30k. Now, we will be able to achieve even more, including expanding our April 19th #FixYoungAmerica rally on 300 college campuses in all 50 states, solidifying even more partnerships to increase the scope of our national outreach about solutions to end youth unemployment, and working with more organizations to get their feedback and solutions to present during our ongoing national outreach. And we will continue raising funds through May 1 with the intention of increasing the number of books and ideas we are able to directly put in decision makers’ hands. Thank you, again, for helping us reach our goal to #FixYoungAmerica!

Bus Tour Announcement:
This week, our partners at Young Invincibles launched an 18-state National Youth Bus Tour that will take them to every corner of the country listening to the stories, issues, and solutions of young Americans. They’ll be co-hosting roundtables and events with young adults (18-34), both in school and out, to talk about critical issues like jobs, entrepreneurship, higher education and health care, and then bringing those voices directly to our political leaders and the media. Young Invincibles is partnering closely with the Young Entrepreneur Council to promote the campaign to #FixYoungAmerica, highlighting young people’s solutions and hosting major joint events with young entrepreneurs along the bus tour.
You can sign up to do your own youth roundtable by emailing Members@YoungInvincibles.org, or join an existing event. Check out the tour schedule at www.YoungAmerica.is. You can also help us by tweeting or posting on Facebook what #YoungAmericaIs to you (ex. entrepreneurial, uninsured, trying to graduate, etc.). Follow the bus tour on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and at www.YoungAmerica.Is.
We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: we are truly grateful to LegalZoom for their generous campaign donation this week.
