THANK YOU!!!!
We need your financial help to take the Hole-y Army Puppet Parade to the Streets! Dyke marches everywhere get ready!!! A fantastically luscious carnival of colourful textile puppets is coming your way! Click HERE to see them!
Hi I am Coral Short from Montreal/ NYC. I am working with Ariel Speedwagon from Brooklyn to bring some stellar community art and trans activism to this year's dyke marches. I have created 100 large vaginas/ hole puppets out of textiles to walk in the dyke march. March with us! We would love to have you join our radical love army! Ariel Speedwagon is our drill sargent extrodinaire.
The dyke march is by nature a feminist protest march.
We welcome all bodies who have ever IDed as a dyke past, present or future to join our Hole-y Army. Self identification is integral to the new generation of queers. We are all more than the sum of our body parts. We believe in self-determination over our own bodies March with us for inclusion of all dyke bodies! Genderqueers welcome!
Trans women are our friends, our lovers, our co-workers and our neighbors. Trans women are not strangers to our communities. Trans women have been a part of queer, lesbian, and dyke communities since the beginning. Trans women have been marching alongside otherwomen since day one, and still are today!
We at the hole-y army celebrate holes of all shapes and colors and sizes on whatever gendered or genderless body they may inhabit, as hairy or shaved as they may be.
Let's create positive change together through art! Community change and evolution keeps us real and relevant to the new generation. We are ALL gorgeous, sexy, and brave, not just some of us. Support our community art activism cause through making a donation. Your money will contribute to queer art activism today.
